So begins my video series on the two biggest names in the racing genre – Gran Turismo and Forza Motorsport. Of course, because I’m trying my hardest to avoid fanoybism of any kind, my purpose in these videos is not to determine which game is better. I think that’s a rather immature and pointless purpose.

Instead, what I aim to discuss here is in what areas the two games will be different, in what areas they push the racing genre forward, and in what areas they aren’t as good as their other competitors like Race Driver GRID, GTR, and the most recently released Need for Speed: Shift. It’s a look at the racing games industry and not a console war shit that so many gamers these days get sucked into.

So this is my introduction to such a discussion. I hope you enjoy and please feel free to comment about your thoughts on the two upcoming games or about what you think about my thoughts on these two games.
